This month we have seen our creative side come out at the Crick Nursing Home in Caldicot. www.golden-care.co.uk

We have all been busy making cards for our loved ones to let them know how missed and loved they all are.

We celebrated National Flower Week www.britishflowersweek.com with a survey of flowers and made some of our very own roses which was deemed the favourite flower of us all!

Our garden planting has continued and with the flowers starting to bloom, we are keen to see our garden visits start so we can show off our hard work as well as Colin’s bug house! Colin took great pride in planning and creating his bug house, ensuring he had thought of all aspects and carefully considering what he felt must be included. We were able to assist and ensure his vision was achievable. He is over the moon with his finished product and can be found in the mornings checking his bug house out in his favourite little spot in the garden.

We also received the fantastic news that we had been successful in our application to receive £400 from the Welsh Church Grant Forum Scheme and can excitedly announce

WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR GOAL!!!

The Snoezelen Sensory Unit has officially been ordered and we are awaiting its arrival. Find out what this amazing unit will bring to us www.snoezelen.info

Our residents at the Crick Nursing Home in Caldicot continue to learn new modern communication skills and we have been learning to email and text this month.

Musicare www.musicare-uk.com have been to visit us in the garden where the amazing Michael performed for our residents – even in the hot weather it was an afternoon not to be forgotten.
